Description

These Air Fryer Chicken Breasts are incredibly flavorful and easy to prepare. Using just a few simple ingredients, you can create a healthy, delicious meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights or any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts – equal in size
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried thyme – or italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, dried thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the spice rub adhere better. Brush the seasoning mixture onto both sides of each chicken breast.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375℉ for 5 minutes. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. Flip them over and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165℉ when checked with a meat thermometer.
  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board or plate before slicing to retain the juices. Slice and serve.

Notes

For best results, ensure your chicken breasts are of similar size for even cooking.
Feel free to experiment with different seasonings based on your preference.
Letting the chicken rest after cooking enhances its juiciness.
