- 1½ lbs salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1½-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and grease the basket.
- Pat salmon cubes dry and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While salmon cooks, whisk together honey, soy sauce, butter, rice vinegar, and minced garlic in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Simmer until smooth and glossy. Use cornstarch slurry to thicken if desired.
- After cooking, drizzle honey garlic sauce over salmon and toss gently.
Notes
Thaw frozen salmon completely before using.
Sauce can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch mixed with water.
