Ingredients
- Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (1.5 lbs)
- Fresh Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese (1 cup)
- Panko Breadcrumbs (1 cup)
- Italian Seasoning (2 teaspoons)
- Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
- Olive Oil Spray
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Combine salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic with olive oil in a bowl, then rub over chicken.
- In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange coated chicken in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden-brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove and let rest for 3-4 minutes before serving.
Notes
For even cooking, use chicken breasts of uniform thickness or pound them slightly.
Feel free to substitute garlic with garlic powder if necessary, though fresh is recommended for flavor.
Freezing individually wrapped pieces allows for convenient meals later.
