  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined, thawed)
  • 1 lb sliced bacon (cut into thirds)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • â…“ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with foil.
  • Mix melted butter, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Marinate shrimp in the butter mixture for about 15 minutes.
  • Wrap each shrimp with a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick, and place on the tray.
  • Sprinkle half of the brown sugar over the shrimp.
  • Bake for 7-8 minutes, flip, and sprinkle remaining brown sugar before returning to oven.
  • Bake for another 7-8 minutes until shrimp are pink and bacon is crispy.

Notes

Use thick-cut bacon for a crispier finish.
Thaw frozen shrimp overnight in the fridge for best texture.
Adjust cayenne pepper to taste for desired spiciness.
