Description

These fudgy dark chocolate brownies are simply delightful, featuring a rich chocolate flavor and an easy preparation method. Perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings, these brownies make an excellent homemade dessert for gatherings or a cozy evening at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz. bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 13×9 inch baking pan and set it aside.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, melt the butter and bittersweet chocolate over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool.
  • Once the chocolate mixture cools, whisk in the sugar and vanilla extract. Add the eggs one by one, whisking until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gradually combine the dry mixture with the chocolate mixture, whisking until thoroughly mixed.
  • Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-35 minutes. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For best results, be careful not to overbake; the brownies should be fudgy in the center.
Allow brownies to cool completely for easier cutting into perfect squares.
