  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1.5 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or avocado)

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into 1.5-inch pieces.
  • Mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices in a bowl to create a marinade.
  • Add chicken pieces and coat thoroughly; marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  • Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 12–14 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through cooking time.
  • Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving with chutney or rice.
