Ingredients
- mint flavored oreos – 24 cookies
- semisweet chocolate disks – 16 ounces
- peppermint extract – 1/4 teaspoon
- green sprinkles – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, place the semisweet chocolate disks and heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Mix in the peppermint extract with the melted chocolate until well combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy clean-up.
- Using a fork, dip each Oreo cookie into the chocolate, letting excess chocolate drip off before transferring to the baking sheet.
- After dipping all cookies, transfer the remaining melted chocolate into a small piping bag to create decorative drizzles.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookies and immediately sprinkle with green sprinkles.
- Allow the cookies to sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets, about 30-60 minutes, or refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Notes
Using high-quality chocolate disks will yield the best results.
Make sure the cookies are completely coated for a more indulgent experience.
If you don’t have green sprinkles, feel free to use any color for decoration.
