- 1 cup long-grain white rice, rinsed
- 4 cups water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cups milk, dairy or dairy-free milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a high-powered blender, combine rice, water, and cinnamon sticks. Blend for about 40 to 60 seconds until the mixture is well-grounded.
- Transfer the mixture into a large container and cover. Let it chill in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours or overnight for best results.
- Strain the blended mixture through a nut-milk bag into a pitcher, discarding the solids.
- Mix in the milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired.
- Serve over ice and garnish with ground cinnamon or cinnamon sticks.
