Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 8 ounces brown mushrooms
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 10.5 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  • Remove the pork chops and sauté the onion and mushrooms until softened; add garlic and stir.
  • Stir in cream of mushroom soup and beef broth, simmering until slightly thickened.
  • Reintroduce the pork chops to the skillet, simmering until cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Notes

Use bone-in pork chops for more juiciness.
Feel free to substitute with chicken or beef, adjusting cooking time as necessary.
Add more broth if the sauce gets too thick.
