- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1.5 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1.5 tablespoons ranch seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cut each chicken breast horizontally into two cutlets.
- Mix garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, and black pepper, then season cutlets on both sides.
- Heat olive oil and 1.5 tablespoons of butter in a skillet. Sear the chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and remove to a plate.
- Melt an additional tablespoon of butter in the skillet, add minced garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle flour into the garlic butter, stirring to form a roux for 30 seconds.
- Gradually add chicken stock while whisking continuously to avoid lumps.
- Whisk in sour cream and ranch seasoning until the sauce is glossy and thick.
- Return the chicken cutlets to the skillet and spoon sauce over them. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
