Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (divided)
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let it sit until bubbly.
  • Mix olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Add half of the oil mixture to the yeast and stir to combine.
  • Gradually incorporate the flour until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  • Preheat oven to 450°F and prepare muffin tin with remaining oil mixture.
  • Divide dough into muffin cups, creating dimples on top.
  • Brush with remaining oil mixture and sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for 11-14 minutes until golden brown, then cool before serving.

Notes

Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
For a crispy texture, reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
