- 1 pound green beans
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 3 scallions
- Steamed rice
- Sesame seeds and extra scallions
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- ½ cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
- Whisk together all sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Sauté green beans in oil for 6-7 minutes, then set aside.
- Brown the marinated chicken in the same pan, about 7-8 minutes total, then remove.
- Sauté garlic, ginger, and scallions until fragrant.
- Combine chicken and green beans in the pan, add sauce, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
- Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce to control saltiness.
For gluten-free, swap soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos.
