- 32 ounces frozen tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef (browned and drained)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 10.5 ounces cheese sauce
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- ½ tablespoon minced onion
- Freshly chopped cilantro (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Crockpot: Lightly spray the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer Tater Tots: Spread half of the frozen tater tots at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Combine Beef Mixture: Mix browned ground beef, cheese sauce, taco seasoning, minced onion, and half of the shredded cheese in a bowl.
- Spread Beef Mixture: Spoon the beef mixture over the tater tots evenly.
- Add Remaining Tater Tots: Top with the remaining tater tots in a single layer.
- Cheese It Up: Sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cook & Serve: Cover and cook on HIGH for 2½ hours until the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
To store, let cool, then refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes or until warmed through.
