Description

This Honey-Lime Margarita-ish Mocktail features a delightful blend of lime juice, raw honey, and tonic water, along with a hint of jalapeno for a unique twist. Perfect for a refreshing drink at any gathering, it’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • juice from one lime (plus one slice for garnish)
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 6 ounces tonic water
  • 23 slices of jalapeno
  • a dash of sea salt flakes
  • 3/4 to 1 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Pour honey into a 14-ounce glass and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water. Stir to dissolve honey.
  2. Pour in lime juice.
  3. Fill glass with ice and pour in about 6 ounces of tonic water.
  4. Add 2 or 3 slices of jalapeno, then stir.
  5. Sprinkle with some salt flakes, then garnish with lime slice.

Notes

Adjust the amount of jalapeno based on your spice preference.
For a sweeter drink, add more honey to taste.
For a sparkling twist, replace tonic water with ginger ale.
