Ingredients

  • Hard Pretzels (12–16 ounces)
  • Oil (1/2 cup)
  • Honey (3 Tablespoons)
  • Brown Sugar (1 Tablespoon)
  • Dijon Mustard (2 Tablespoons)
  • Ground Mustard (2 teaspoons)
  • Onion Powder (1 and 1/2 teaspoons)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Coarse or Flaky Sea Salt (Optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together oil, honey, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  • Break pretzels into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.
  • Pour the honey mustard mixture over pretzels and mix until evenly coated.
  • Spread pretzel pieces on the baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool completely on the baking sheet before storing in an airtight container.
