Description

This Lobster Tail in Irresistible Garlic Butter offers a delightful blend of flavors with minimal prep. Juicy lobster is cooked in buttery garlic sauce, making it a perfect dish for a quick dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for color
  • 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
  • 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish

Instructions

  • Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of lobster tails lengthwise, stopping before the tail fin. Gently pry the meat upward while keeping it attached at the base, resting it atop the split shell and patting dry with paper towels.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once it foams, whisk in garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Sear lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning the butter over the tops while cooking.
  • Flip and finish cooking shell-side down for another 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm but springs back when pressed.
  • Squeeze lemon wedges over the lobster tails in the pan.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.

Notes

Using high-quality butter enhances the flavor.
Make sure the lobster is fully thawed before preparation.
Serving with additional lemon wedges can complement the dish.
