Description

Make Ahead Crockpot Mashed Potatoes offer an irresistible flavor with simple prep. These comfort food favorites are made with potatoes, garlic, and creamy goodness, making them perfect for quick dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • Potatoes
  • Garlic cloves
  • Chicken broth
  • Sour cream
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Milk

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and add them with skin to a large crock pot.
  2. Add whole garlic cloves and chicken broth.
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 4-5 hours, until fork tender.
  4. Add sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, and oregano to the potatoes.
  5. Mash with a potato masher, mixing in the butter, sour cream, and seasonings as you go.
  6. Stir in milk until reaching the desired consistency.
  7. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your taste.
For creamier potatoes, add more milk if needed.
