Description

These Easter M&M chocolate chip cookies feature a delightful combination of mini chocolate chips and colorful M&M’s, creating a delicious and festive treat perfect for any occasion. Easy to prepare and bake, they are ideal for those seeking a quick and enjoyable homemade dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 1 cup easter m&m's

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture, beating until well combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture, mixing until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the mini-chocolate chips and M&M's gently.
  7. Scoop out 1 1/2 tbsp of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow for spreading.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. After removing from the oven, press additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's into the tops of the cookies.

Notes

Ensure your butter is softened for the best texture.
Pressing extra chocolate chips on top adds a nice touch and extra flavor.
You can substitute regular M&M’s for seasonal ones for different festive occasions.
