Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture, beating until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the flour mixture, mixing until fully combined.
- Fold in the mini-chocolate chips and M&M's gently.
- Scoop out 1 1/2 tbsp of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each to allow for spreading.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- After removing from the oven, press additional mini-chocolate chips and M&M's into the tops of the cookies.

Ensure your butter is softened for the best texture.
Pressing extra chocolate chips on top adds a nice touch and extra flavor.
