Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (18.71 ounce) package mint oreos about 36 cookies
- 8 ounces brick-style cream cheese softened
- 1 pound almond bark
- 1/3 cup green candy melts optional
Instructions
- Add the Mint Oreos to a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs are formed.
- In a large bowl, blend the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth.
- Use a 1-tablespoon scoop to portion the mixture, rolling it into evenly sized balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the almond bark according to package instructions until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted almond bark, tapping off the excess before placing them back on the lined baking sheet.
- If desired, melt the green candy melts and drizzle them over the coated truffles.
- Let the coating set completely before serving or storing.
Notes
For a quicker set, place truffles in the freezer for 15 minutes after dipping.
Ensure the almond bark is at a dipping consistency; if too thick, warm it slightly.
Feel free to customize with other candy melt colors for different occasions.
