Description

These Pizza Pinwheels offer cheesy, savory goodness in every swirl—ideal for snacks or gatherings! Quick prep and a delicious flavor make them a favorite for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan
  • 32 pepperoni slices
  • 2 tsp parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll and roll out pizza dough to about ¼–⅓ inch thick on a cutting board.
  • Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving one edge clean.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the sauce.
  • Layer mozzarella, parmesan, and pepperoni on top of the seasoned sauce.
  • Roll the dough into a log, sealing the edge to hold the filling.
  • Slice the log into 12 pinwheels and place them on the baking sheet, spaced out.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool, garnish with parsley, and enjoy.

Notes

Store cooled pinwheels in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
To freeze, use a freezer-safe container and bake from frozen when ready to eat.
If using homemade dough, ensure it’s rolled to the same thickness as store-bought.
