- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- 32 pepperoni slices
- 2 tsp parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll and roll out pizza dough to about ¼–⅓ inch thick on a cutting board.
- Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving one edge clean.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the sauce.
- Layer mozzarella, parmesan, and pepperoni on top of the seasoned sauce.
- Roll the dough into a log, sealing the edge to hold the filling.
- Slice the log into 12 pinwheels and place them on the baking sheet, spaced out.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool, garnish with parsley, and enjoy.
Notes
Store cooled pinwheels in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
To freeze, use a freezer-safe container and bake from frozen when ready to eat.
If using homemade dough, ensure it’s rolled to the same thickness as store-bought.
