- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Rub the pork shoulder with the herb and garlic seasoning, and place it into the slow cooker.
- Combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and chicken broth in a bowl, then pour over the pork in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 205 degrees.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with forks.
- Return about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the cooking juices to the shredded pork, and discard the remaining juices.
- If preferred, mix in additional BBQ sauce.
