- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 0.5 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1.25 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 flour tortillas (6 inches)
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 small onion (diced)
- Dill pickle chips
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, mustard, sugar, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder to create the sauce.
- Divide ground beef into four portions and flatten them slightly.
- Spread a portion of beef on each tortilla, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and cook tortillas with beef side down for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
- Flip the tacos, add cheese, and cook for another 1-3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Repeat for remaining tacos and serve with sauce, onions, lettuce, and pickles.
Notes
Sauce can be made a day ahead for better flavor development.
