Description

These Smash Burger Tacos combine juicy beef, melty cheese, and zesty sauce, making them a quick, flavorful favorite for any gathering. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.5 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 flour tortillas (6 inches)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • Dill pickle chips
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, mustard, sugar, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder to create the sauce.
  • Divide ground beef into four portions and flatten them slightly.
  • Spread a portion of beef on each tortilla, season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and cook tortillas with beef side down for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  • Flip the tacos, add cheese, and cook for another 1-3 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Repeat for remaining tacos and serve with sauce, onions, lettuce, and pickles.

Notes

Sauce can be made a day ahead for better flavor development.
Experiment with different toppings such as diced tomatoes or jalapeños.
