Description

Enjoy the delightful flavor of Teriyaki Meatballs, featuring a mix of lean beef, pork, and fresh ingredients. This easy recipe makes a perfect quick dinner or flavorful snack that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic fresh is best
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • â…“ cup diced water chestnuts
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced, optional
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients. Gently stir the mixture (use your hands if needed) and form meatballs that are 1 to 1 1/2 inches in size. A cookie scoop can help create uniform balls.
  • Place the formed meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes, or until they are fully cooked. Allow them to rest for 5 to 10 minutes still on the baking sheet.
  • Toss the meatballs in teriyaki sauce. Add additional sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish, if desired.
  • Serve the meatballs right away, with toothpicks or over a bed of rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the meat mixture sit for a few minutes before forming the meatballs.
Serve with steamed veggies for a complete meal.
These meatballs can also be made ahead and frozen for future meals.
