Ingredients
- Strawberry Cake Mix (15.25 ounces)
- Cream Cheese (8 ounces)
- Cream Cheese Chips (â…“ cup)
- Ghirardelli Vanilla Melting Wafers (2 bags of 10 oz)
- Wilton Pink and Bright Pink Candy Melts (½ cup each)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the strawberry cake mix on the baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Fold the cooled cake mix into the cream cheese until combined, then beat with a mixer until dough forms.
- Add in the cream cheese chips and mix well.
- Chill the dough covered in plastic wrap for 2 hours.
- Scoop portions of dough onto a baking sheet and roll into balls.
- Melt the vanilla melting wafers in a double boiler or microwave.
- Dip each ball in the melted coating, remove excess, and place back on the sheet.
- Sprinkle with optional toppings before the coating sets.
- Allow truffles to set completely at room temperature.
