Description

Zucchini Lasagna Bolognese is an easy and delicious dish combining layers of zucchini, savory ground beef, and creamy ricotta cheese. Perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 medium zucchinis, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef and season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Layer zucchini slices over the sauce.
  • Spread half of the cooked ground beef over the zucchini layers.
  • Add dollops of ricotta cheese evenly across the beef.
  • Repeat the layering process, finishing with a layer of zucchini slices on top.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on the top layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Allow the dish to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs instead of dried ones.
Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
Make sure to slice the zucchini thinly for even cooking.
