Description

These Air Fryer Apple Cider Donuts are a delightful treat, combining warm spices with a sweet apple cider glaze. Simple to make and perfect for sharing!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 16.3 ounce can flaky biscuits
  • 1 cup apple cider

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper or use a wire rack for setting the donuts.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.
  3. Pour the apple cider into a small saucepan and simmer over medium-high heat until it reduces slightly, then set aside.
  4. Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Use a small round object to cut out the centers to form donuts.
  5. Prepare the air fryer basket with parchment paper or a light spray of oil.
  6. Place four donuts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  8. Remove the hot donuts and place them on the prepared tray or rack. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  9. While warm, brush both sides of each donut with the reduced apple cider and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Notes

For a lighter touch, use less sugar in the cinnamon mix.
Ensure the donuts are not overcrowded in the air fryer for even cooking.
These donuts are best enjoyed warm, right after preparation.
