- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- chili crisp oil (optional) for drizzling
- toasted sesame seeds (optional) for garnish
- sliced green onion (optional) for garnish
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon pieces with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar. Sprinkle the mixture over the salmon and gently toss to coat all pieces.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and, if desired, drizzle with chili crisp oil.
- Serve immediately, garnished with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Optionally serve over rice.
