- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 3 medium apples, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon table salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut a circle of parchment paper for the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and spray the sides with cooking spray. Set it aside.
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 6 to 8 minutes until the edges are golden brown. After baking, reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (162°C).
Notes
For an extra touch, drizzle caramel sauce on top before serving.
