- 2 cans (10 oz) pillsbury refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 granny smith apples
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 oz mountain dew
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray.
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into 8 slices each.
- Place an apple slice into each Crescent Roll triangle, starting at the wide end, and roll up tightly, securing the tip around the roll.
- Continue placing all 16 Crescent Roll triangles filled with apples into the sprayed pan.
- In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon over low heat until well mixed and melted.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the dumplings in the pan.
- Next, pour Mountain Dew over the entire pan of dumplings.
- Bake the dumplings for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor!
