Description

These Baked Peaches are a delightful dessert featuring ripe peaches drizzled with maple syrup and topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon. They’re easy to prepare and will leave you craving more! Ingredients

  • 4 peaches ripe but firm, halved and pitted
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar, light or dark
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Splash of bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly butter a small baking dish that can snugly hold the peaches.
  2. Arrange the peach halves cut-side up in the baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt; sprinkle this mixture evenly over the peaches.
  4. Dot each peach half with cubes of butter, then drizzle with vanilla extract, lemon juice, and bourbon.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top of the peaches.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the peaches are tender and the tops are caramelized.
  7. Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Choose peaches that are ripe but firm for the best texture.
Feel free to swap bourbon with orange juice for a non-alcoholic version.
For added crunch, sprinkle some chopped nuts over the peaches before baking.
