Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons sriracha
- â…“ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce.
- Cut the chicken breast into 1-inch pieces, then season with sesame oil, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and sriracha. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the spices.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil; once hot, arrange the chicken bites in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes and flip to cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from heat and toss it with the prepared bang bang sauce. Serve hot with rice or over shredded cabbage.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider pan-frying the chicken bites instead of sautéing.
The bang bang sauce can be adjusted to your taste by adding more or less sriracha.
This dish is great for meal prep; just store the sauce separately until serving.
