Description
These Brie Bites feature flaky phyllo pastry filled with creamy Brie cheese and sweet cranberry sauce, making them an ideal appetizer for gatherings or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 sheets phyllo dough, slightly thawed
- 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into 1" bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 5 sprigs rosemary
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lightly spray a mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside.
- On a floured surface, unfold the semi-thawed phyllo dough sheets and roll them out gently to soften the creases. Cut each sheet into 9 squares using a pizza cutter.
- Place each phyllo square into the greased mini muffin tins. Add a piece of Brie cheese and about 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce to each.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Then, place the muffin pan onto a baking sheet for easy handling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the pastry turns golden brown.
- Remove the pan from the oven and take the Brie Bites out of the muffin tins while still warm. Optionally, garnish each with a small sprig of rosemary. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to substitute the pecans with walnuts or almonds for a different flavor.
These Brie Bites can be served warm or at room temperature for a delightful snack.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
