Description

These Caramel Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful combination of gooey caramels, fluffy marshmallows, and crispy rice cereal. Perfect for any occasion, they’re quick to prepare and irresistible!


Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Unwrap the caramels and set 10 aside.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, then remove from heat once melted.
  5. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows until almost combined.
  6. Mix in the Rice Krispies and fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows until everything is well combined.
  7. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted caramels over the top of the treats.
  10. Let cool and cut into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt to the melted butter.
Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
Feel free to add chocolate chips for an extra treat!
