- 8 hamburger buns

Instructions
- Prepare a grill fire to about 300° using hickory or oak wood for smoke.
- Combine brown sugar, granulated garlic, smoked paprika, kosher salt, black pepper, and dry mustard to make a steak rub.
- Mix the seasoning blend into the ground beef and form the mixture into 8 patties, ensuring a slight indentation in the center of each one.
- Place the patties on indirect heat and cover the grill. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip the burgers and continue cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 165°.
- Remove the burgers from the grill and serve them on buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite condiments.
