Ingredients
- Powdered Sugar (3/4 cup)
- Vanilla Extract (1/2 teaspoon)
- All-Purpose Flour (2 1/4 cups)
- Butter (softened)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a mixer and mix until fluffy.
- Gradually add the fluffed all-purpose flour and mix until you achieve a crumbly texture.
- Shape the dough into a ball and roll between parchment paper to about 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut out circles and place on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are light golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Use softened butter for easy mixing and a tender cookie texture.
Optionally chill the dough for 30 minutes if it’s difficult to roll out.
