Description

This creamy coleslaw features a delightful combination of flavors with a mixture of fresh coleslaw, green onions, and a smooth dressing. It’s easy to make and perfect for a quick meal or as a side dish for gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions, and toss briefly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, celery seeds, sea salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the cabbage to soften slightly.
  5. Before serving, give the slaw a quick toss and taste. Adjust the seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or vinegar if necessary.

Notes

For a twist, add shredded carrots or apples to the mix.
Make it a day in advance for an even better flavor.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
