Description

This Easy Green Bean Casserole is a comforting dish with its creamy mushroom base, savory flavor, and crispy onion topping, perfect for any meal or gathering.

Ingredients

  • Frozen green beans (24 oz)
  • Cream of mushroom soup (2 cans)
  • Milk (½ cup)
  • Salt (½ tsp)
  • Pepper (½ tsp)
  • French fried onions (6 oz can)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine green beans, mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle half of the French fried onions on top of the casserole.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbling and golden around the edges.
  • Remove from oven, add the remaining fried onions, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Notes

Fresh green beans can be used if blanched first for tenderness.
For gluten-free options, choose gluten-free cream of mushroom soup and fried onions.
Storing in an airtight container in the fridge keeps leftovers fresh for 3-4 days.
