- 3 medium avocados
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ – 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1–2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced
Instructions
- Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Gently mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher until slightly chunky.
- Mix in cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ tsp of salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of lime juice.
- For a smoother texture, continue mashing; for chunkier guacamole, stir in spices with a spatula.
- Add cilantro and diced tomatoes, mixing until well combined.
- Taste and adjust salt or lime juice according to preference.
- Allow guacamole to sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
- For longer storage, refrigerate with a pit and lime juice on top, tightly covered to prevent browning.
- Serve at room temperature or chilled.
