- 8 oz Shell Pasta
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over low heat and caramelize sliced onions for 25-30 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for one minute until fragrant.
- Deglaze the skillet with a splash of beef broth, scraping the bottom for flavor.
- Stir in the remaining beef broth, shell pasta, and thyme, then simmer for 10-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Mix in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until heated through and creamy.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Keep the heat low while caramelizing onions to prevent burning.
