Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ½ cups frozen mixed berries
- 4 oz silver tequila or white tequila
- 4 oz triple sec
- juice of ½ lime plus more for rimming the glass
- ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
- ½ cup crushed ice
- sugar for the rim
- ¼ cup club soda or more if needed
- lime wheels and mint for garnish
Instructions
- Rim your glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it into sugar. Set aside.
- In a blender, combine frozen berries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Taste the mixture; if you want it sweeter, add more sugar. If it’s too thick, splash in some club soda.
- Pour the margarita into the rimmed glass, add a splash of club soda if desired, and garnish with a lime wheel and mint leaves.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup or sugar to taste.
Using honey can be a delightful alternative to maple syrup if preferred.
For a thicker margarita, add more crushed ice.
