- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, whisk together egg yolks, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and sugar until well heated and combined for 12-15 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded coconut and pecans. Transfer to a glass bowl and cool completely.
