These Grilled Shrimp Skewers offer a delightful combination of succulent shrimp, aromatic garlic, and zesty lemon. Perfect for a quick meal or outdoor gatherings, they are easy to prepare and absolutely delicious!

- 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail on
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice from 1 lemon, about 3 Tablespoons of juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground or cracked pepper
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Thread the shrimp onto metal or soaked wooden skewers and discard the marinade.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, then place the shrimp skewers on the grill.
- Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot with lemon wedges, if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
These skewers can be served with a side salad for a complete meal.
