Description

This homemade whipped cream is delightfully creamy and sweet, featuring heavy cream, sugar, and a hint of vanilla. It’s easy to prepare and perfect for topping desserts, adding a rich and fluffy texture to cakes and pies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240g/ml) heavy cream, cold
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cold heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Using a handheld or stand mixer with a whisk attachment, whip the mixture on medium-high speed for about 3–4 minutes until medium peaks form.
  3. If over-whipped, gently fold in a bit more cold heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate tightly covered for up to 24 hours.

Notes

Ensure the heavy cream is cold for better whipping results.
Use a whisk attachment for best texture.
This whipped cream can be flavored with cocoa powder or other extracts if desired.
