Description

Marry Me Chicken Sliders are an irresistible blend of flavors with shredded rotisserie chicken, creamy sauce, and cheesy goodness. Perfect for a quick dinner or weeknight comfort food that your family will love!


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in hot water, drained, & chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • â…“ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 package king’s hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
  • ½ cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (½ stick)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and grated parmesan cheese. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the mixture and combine thoroughly.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the Hawaiian sweet rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the rolls, then layer with baby spinach and Monterey Jack cheese.
  6. Replace the top halves of the rolls and brush the melts butter over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle minced garlic and fresh parsley on top for added flavor.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

These sliders can be assembled a few hours ahead of baking if desired.
Feel free to mix in other vegetables or cheeses to customize the sliders to your taste.
Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
