- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in hot water, drained, & chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- â…“ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 package king’s hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
- ½ cup fresh baby spinach
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (½ stick)
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 7×11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and grated parmesan cheese. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the shredded rotisserie chicken to the mixture and combine thoroughly.
- Place the bottom halves of the Hawaiian sweet rolls in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the rolls, then layer with baby spinach and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Replace the top halves of the rolls and brush the melts butter over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle minced garlic and fresh parsley on top for added flavor.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
Notes
These sliders can be assembled a few hours ahead of baking if desired.
Feel free to mix in other vegetables or cheeses to customize the sliders to your taste.
