Description

These Mini Pizzas are quick to prepare, loaded with flavor from fresh mozzarella and aromatic herbs, making them an ideal choice for snacks or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour (2 cups)
  • Salt (½ teaspoon)
  • Instant Yeast (½ teaspoon)
  • Lukewarm Water (½ cup + 1 tbsp)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (½ tablespoon)
  • Flour or Semolina (½ or 1 tablespoon)
  • Pizza Sauce (½ cup)
  • Fresh Mozzarella (5 oz)
  • Dried Oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Fresh Basil (3 tablespoons, chopped)

Instructions

  • Combine dry ingredients: whisk flour, salt, and yeast.
  • Whisk wet ingredients: add lukewarm water and olive oil, stir until shaggy dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about a minute.
  • Let it rise in a greased bowl for 30-45 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  • Roll out the dough to 0.12-inch thickness, cut into circles for mini pizzas.
  • Add toppings: sauce, mozzarella, oregano, and basil on each circle.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden and cheese bubbles.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and drizzle of olive oil before serving.

Notes

Use store-bought dough to save time if needed.
Experiment with toppings like pepperoni or veggies for variety.
For fluffier crust, do not skip the rising time.
