- 1 13.29-ounce package oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 quarts mint chip ice cream, softened
- 1 12-ounce jar hot fudge topping, divided
- 1 8-ounce tub whipped topping, thawed
- 1/3 cup chopped andes mints
Instructions
- Crush all of the Oreo cookies in a food processor.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons of the cookie crumbs and set aside.
- Add the melted butter to the remaining crumbs and pulse to combine.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan.
- Scoop about half of the softened mint chip ice cream over the crust and smooth into an even layer.
- Spread most of the hot fudge over the ice cream, saving a couple of tablespoons for garnishing the top.
- Add the remaining ice cream and smooth out the top layer.
- Cover the dish with foil and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Spread the whipped topping over the frozen dessert and garnish with the reserved fudge, crushed Oreos, and chopped Andes mints.
- Enjoy immediately or return to the freezer until ready to serve.
Notes
Ensure the mint chip ice cream is soft for easy layering.
Feel free to adjust the amount of Andes mints based on your preference for mint flavor.
This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
