- 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 2/3 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
Instructions
- Mix the old fashioned oats and chocolate chips in a bowl.
- In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil, then place over low heat. Stir until fully melted.
- Remove the mixture from heat and pour it into the oats and chocolate chip mixture, stirring until well combined and the chocolate is melted.
- Transfer the mixture into a 9 x 9 pan lined with parchment paper and spread it evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator until firm, then cut into bars.
Notes
For a nut-free version, use sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter.
Adding a pinch of salt can enhance the richness of the flavors.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
