This Peach Cobbler combines fresh peaches with sweet sugars and a buttery batter for a dessert that’s easy to prepare. Perfect for sharing at any occasion, this comforting treat is best enjoyed warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

- 4 cups fresh peach slices peeled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- pinch of salt
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sliced peaches, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes till the sugar melts and the mixture is warm.
- Pour melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring it in.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and milk until smooth. Pour this over the melted butter in the pan without stirring.
- Evenly spoon the peach mixture over the batter, adding a bit of juice if desired. Top with remaining brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Bake in the oven for 38–42 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbling at the edges.
- Allow cooling for a few minutes before serving warm, ideally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Ensure the peaches are ripe for maximum flavor.
For added richness, use whole milk instead of low-fat milk.
Let cobbler rest for a few minutes before serving to set the filling.
