Description

This Prosciutto Wrapped Fig blends sweet and savory flavors with simple prep. Perfect for appetizers or a quick treat, featuring figs, prosciutto, and creamy gorgonzola.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large figs, cut in half
  • 6 slices prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons gorgonzola cheese
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the figs, then cut off the stems and slice them in half.
  2. Lay the fig halves cut side up on a flat surface. Place about 1/2 tablespoon of Gorgonzola cheese on top of each fig.
  3. Take a slice of prosciutto, wrap it around each fig covering the cheese completely.
  4. Transfer the wrapped figs to a serving platter and drizzle honey over each one before serving.

Notes

Choose ripe figs for the best flavor.
You can substitute other blue cheeses if preferred.
These make a great party appetizer or snack.
