Description

These Red White and Blue Cheesecake Bars are a delightful treat featuring a crunchy Oreo crust, creamy filling, and vibrant colors. They’re easy to prepare, making them an ideal dessert for gatherings, holidays, or any special occasion. Enjoy the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess in every bite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 30 Oreo cookies
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 38 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • red & blue gel food colors

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until they become crumbs.
  3. Mix in the melted butter until combined and press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool.
  4. Place a large baking sheet on the bottom rack of the oven and fill it halfway with water to create steam. Preheat the oven again.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add the sour cream, vanilla, and flour, then mix well.
  6. Add the eggs and beat gently until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter into three bowls. Tint two bowls with red and blue food coloring, respectively.
  8. Spoon the colored mixtures over the crust in alternating layers. Use a butter knife to create a swirl pattern, being careful not to over-mix.
  9. Bake the cheesecake for 45-50 minutes, then remove from the oven and place on a wire rack.
  10. Let it cool for 1 hour before refrigerating for 4-6 hours.
  11. Once chilled, cut into squares and serve with whipped cream and sprinkles, if desired.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
You can use different colors for a fun twist depending on the occasion.
Allowing the cheesecake to chill fully improves the flavors and texture.
